Audi's entry into the compact crossover segment. Introduced as a 2009 model in the US.

Based on Audi's MLP (Modular Longitudinal Platform). Same platform that the current B8 A4,S4,A5,S5 are based on, and next generation A6 and A8 will be based on, and also the A7.

2.0 TFSI (I4)

2.0 TDI (I4 diesel)

3.0 TDI (V6 diesel)

3.2 FSI (V6) - currently the only available Q5 engine for the US market

Transmissions available:

6-speed manual

6-speed tiptronic - currently the only available Q5 transmission for the US market

7-speed DSG (dual clutch)

Fastest color: Ibis white

Dopest option: S-Line
