TT.Mk1 "Faking" the brake pad wear sensor

If your new pads don't have a wear sensor, you will have a wear indicator light always showing. Two ways to fix this. Get pads with sensors (or add sensors to your pads), or fake out the sensor.

Cut this off your old pad that HAD a sensor:

Strip the wires and twist them together. Solder as well if you want a more secure connection:

Pretty it up with some heat shrink tubing:

Plug it back in and tuck it out of the way.

If I were to do it again, I would probably cut the wire as short as I could. I left it long in case I wanted to try to make it in to a sensor again, but I didn't go that route.
