2001 Audi TT Quattro Roadster L4-1.8L Turbo (AMU) Brake Pedal, Assembly.

Note, as of Feb 2010, current compatible VW switch part number is 1C0 945 511 NAR. It is a green body, as opposed to the purple in the picture below, and cost $6 at a VW dealer.

WARNING: Brake pedal travel must not be restricted by additional floor coverings.

Notes: Grease all mountings before installation with grease Part No. G 000 602.

1. Mounting bracket
2. Self locking hexagon nut, Tighten to 30 Nm
3. Brake light switch

Before installing, connect brake pedal to brake servo
Before installing pull plunger out completely
Push brake pedal down as far as possible by hand
Guide through mounting hole (only fits in one position) and secure by turning 90 degrees clockwise
Release brake pedal
Connect brake pedal connector
Check function of brake lights

4. Accelerator pedal
5. Hexagon bolt
6. Brake pedal
7. Pad
8. Self - locking hexagon nut, Tighten to 20 Nm
9. Mounting bush
10. Pivot pin
