O.CT Front Mount Inter-Cooler (FMIC)
Bought a used O.CT (Oberscheider Chip Tuning) FMIC from an Audiworld forum member. The installation took about a day, but happened over two...

Symptoms:
Patient had trouble breathing in hot weather. After repeated exertion, inhalation temperatures increased, and lung capacity decreased. Marked difference in cold weather, when little decrease in lung function was noticed.
Diagnosis:
Patients lungs were too small to handle the breathing capacity needed - especially on hot days with high exertion. Stem-cell grown lungs were considered, but found to be too costly for the insurance used. A much larger, used lung was found (donated by DallasTTQR, who's own doctor provided the original lung from O.CT) which provided a larger capacity system than the original two smaller lungs.
Prognosis:
Patient now off life support, and breathing normally. As this Fotki shows, the new lung not only works better than the old set, but looks better too!
