TT.Mk1 License Plate Light Changing

Changing the bulbs on the License Plate area of the TT is a 5-minute process.

The mounts slide out - one way only. Put a screwdriver over the inside edge, push it carefully (fragile plastic!) towards the outside, and the mount should pop out:

The bulbs are very easy to replace:

If you are interested in a lighting change, I think LEDs in this position look nice:

The top of this image is the OEM bulb, and the bottom is an LED bulb. Make sure you get reputable parts, as these bulbs are "open to the environment", and cheap LED bulb circuit boards will corrode quickly.
